Er erhielt seine professionelle Ausbildung in München bei Jutta Röthel\, an der Akademie der Künste in Amsterdam und an der Alvin Ailey School in New York.\n\nEr war als Solist bei Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal\, beim Ballett Augsburg sowie in der Tanzkompanie des Staatstheaters am Gärtnerplatz engagiert. Zudem war er Gastkünstler beim Béjart Ballet Lausanne. Er arbeitete mit zahlreichen Choreografen\, darunter Philip Taylor\, Blanca Li\, Carolyn Carlson\, Cayetano Soto\, Davide Bombana\, Christian Spuck\, Caroline Finn\, Aszure Barton und Crystal Pite. Darüber hinaus trat er in Stücken von Jiří Kylián\, Nacho Duato und Mauro Bigonzetti auf und war choreografischer Assistent für die Premiere von Davide Bombanas Mare Nostrum beim National Ballett in Sarajevo.\n\nZu seiner Musical-Laufbahn zählen die Produktionen 42nd Street\, Copacabana\, My Fair Lady\, Der Fiedler auf dem Dach\, Marilyn\, La Cage aux Folles\, Cats\, Cabaret\, Anything Goes\, Bodyguard\, Priscilla – Königin der Wüste und der Originalproduktion von Chicago in Deutschland sowie in Dänemark und Frankreich als “Spirit of Fosse” und als Assistant Dance Captain. Seine Choreographien wurden von der Tanzkompanie des Gärtnerplatz Theaters\, dem Augsburger Ballett und dem Geraldine Armstrong Dance Ensemble in Paris aufgeführt. In London hat er für das WAC Performing Arts College das Musical Once on This Islandchoreografiert. Er schuf Stücke für die Tanzakademie Bielefeld\, die Abraxas Musical Academy und die Theaterakademie August Everding in München. Zudem studierte er Ann Reinkings Original Choreographie des Musicals Chicago für den Studiengang Musical von Les Cours Florent in Paris ein.\n\nSeit 2000 unterrichtet er und als Gastlehrer bei verschiedenen Workshops wie Dance World Cup Spain\, Tanz Bozen\, Dance Workshop Paris\, beim Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin und an diversen Instituten\, u.a. Tring Park School for the Performing Arts und an der Theaterakademie August Everding – Studiengang Musical.\n\nSeit der Spielzeit 2020/2021 gehört er dem Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz als choreografischer Mitarbeiter und Probenleiter an. 2021 schloss Alex sein Masterstudium in Opernregie an der Accademia dell’Opera di Verona ab. Kurz darauf assistierte er dem Bühnenregisseur und Staatsintendant Josef E. Köpplinger bei seiner Inszenierung von Die Fledermaus am Teatro del Maggio Musicale in Florenz und am Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz.\n\nAls Choreograf entwickelte er u. a. die Musicals Die kleine Meerjungfrau am Theater in Kempten\, Next to Normal und La Cage Aux Folles an den Bühnen Bern\, die Oper Die Lustigen Weiber Von Windsor sowie die neue Operette Oh! Oh! Amelio am Gärtnerplatztheater\, das Musical Mozart! am Prinzregententheater in München und eine Folge der deutschen Fernsehserie Löwenzahn.
